YOSHITAKA
AMANO

Born in Shizuoka City, Yoshitaka Amano began his career at Tatsunoko Production, where he worked on character design and concept art for numerous classic animated series, including Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Time Bokan, Yatterman, Casshan, and The Adventures of Hutch the Honeybee.

He later gained international acclaim for his character and concept designs for the Final Fantasy series, establishing himself as one of the world’s leading figures in visual design.

His distinctive artistic vision has shaped a wide range of works, including DEVA ZAN, CANDY GIRL, and N.Y. SALAD. He has also collaborated extensively with other writers and creators on numerous projects, including Vampire Hunter D, Angel’s Egg, Guin Saga, and The Heroic Legend of Arslan.

His visual art has been published in art books around the world, with more than twenty collections released to date. His work continues to inspire and move audiences worldwide.
